Herewith is forwarded a certificate from Captain W.A. Fry, Treasurer, that the sum of  £1,208-16-0 has been deposited in the Treasury here by the local representative of Burns, Philp & Coy. Ltd., who request that you may be advised, in order that his firm may receive payment in Australia.

It will be seen that the amount mentioned above is Nett, after calculating 23 Marks to the  £, and deducting 2 ½   per cent Bank Exchange.

In accordance with your request by wireless, no German paper money is included in the amount.
