With reference to your letter dated 27th October, 1914, forwarding Warrant Forms for W. Wilkinson and W. Inglis, now serving with the N. & M.E. Force, you are informed that as only one Warrant officer is provided for on the Establishment of the Force under your command, viz, the Regimental Sergt. Major for the Infantry Battalion, warrants for both Wilkinson and Inglis cannot be approved, but if the name of the Regimental Sergt. Major together with the date on which he commenced such duty, be submitted to this office a Form of Warrant will be prepared and forwarded for the individual concerned.
The Warrant Forms which accompanied your letter are returned herewith.
