now desires through me, to convey to your dear Mother & yourself his condolence; and to say that, had I been absent on the present occasion, he would have attended most carefully & promptly, to your wishes. – The bearer of this letter is a Nephew of mine, of the name of Leslie (a Sisters Son) who goes out to learn the profession of a Settler under my friend Mr Jones, and if it should fall in your way conveniently, to be civil or attentive to him, at any time, you may suppose how agreeable it will be to me, and how advantageous to the
