Dear Sir
I have favoured with yr letter of 12th Nov, 1867 acknowledging the receipt of our remittance of £550. We now enclose a small Bill draw by W.J. Stone upon his Father Mr Stone of 19 Harper [?] Street the proceeds of which [indecipherable] the [indecipherable] to place to our credit, as usual. It is only for £15. The [indecipherable] during the past six months has been one of the most a [indecipherable] in this district, we have not experienced at this moment we cannot [indecipherable] money to make this further payments we had intended.
By the next mail we shall be able to write more specifically what we can do, and if you require it or will like assistance to enable us to pay off the £2500.
At the moment we cannot say how much we may have to apply to that objects from the proceeds of the Estate, with which the reason has much interfered but our hope to have £1000 applicable to it and you may rely upon our sending you all we can as we can rally [indecipherable] to place our names on the Cr side of your Ledger.
