Every one about the R'Way assure one that he performs the duty assigned to him attentively so that I cannot learn where this delay arises.

I hope & trust that by this the packages have reached you, if not I pray you let me know at once. I have called on Mr Rae for the purpose of setting matters correct about the Carriage charged in the account. The Account cannot at present be found. You will not in future receive trouble on this subject.

You have surprised me about the Envelope bearing postage mark Sydney 26th Decr letter dated 23rd. I do suspect that one of my men must have kept the letter in his pocket. Now that the year closes I hope that blunders & neglects will be also to a close, apologising to you
