Sir,
We beg to transmit a letter dated the 11th Inst from Mr J. C. Bidwell to yourself on the subject of Mr Duppa' acceptance for £231, which was protected for now repayment on the 28th September.
Mr Bidwell has hitherto acted as our agent in this matter, but in consequence of his appointment to the office of Commissioner of Crown Lands at Wide Bay, the most northerly District of this Colony it is no longer convenient for him to do so.
