I have to thank you for your letter of the 3rd inst. containing statement as to the rate leased under "Pasture & Stock Act of 1880".
The Stock at Camden Park consists of less than 1000 head of cattle and less than 200 head of horses. The numbers as near as I can ascertain without mustering 970 cattle & 140 horses. The land at Mount Hunter Camden Upper Camden & through the joint property of Sir Wm. Macarthur and Mrs. Onslow is leased to tenants. I have no knowledge of the stock they hold.
I will pay on the number given by your return 1290 wh. was probably correct at the time this examination was taken by the police.
