With regard to the one that is missing it became very foot sore and the disease had to leave it behind in the Paddock near Liverpool, this of course should have been made known to Howeth.

Mr. Stewart not having made an entry of the (47) head sent from this on the 10th of March, I am unable to account for.  My sending a message to him is certainly a mistake, all I wished was that the (47) should remain in the Appletree Flat for a short time, apart from those on the Menangle road.  At that time I had not any idea of buying more Cattle
