than the time named, but this I will leave entirely in your hands feeling quite sure that three months in fair seasons will suffice to fatten most Cattle fit for Market. I am convinced of the good qualities of your Paddocks from the fact of your young stock being in such fine condition.
When we can fairly get to work, I have not the least doubt for the result.
You remark of the uncertainty of Life, I regret to say I have had sad proof of by the last mail having lost a younger Brother after a short illness, but I hope and trust you may be spared many years of usefulness to the Colony for we can ill afford to lose such.
