As the imperfect brand led Boyd into error as to the colt's age, I shall not send him to Sydney & shall not use your cheque, till you let me know whether you still wish to have him.
I am sorry there has been any misunderstanding about the horse. I think him very cheap at 60 Guineas & one of the most promising young horses we have ever bred.
