I said more than once the two horses you fancied were not a pair & that I could make no difference in the price whether one or both were sold.

We always Guineas are always named by me & not Pounds for horses.  The price of 100 gs. referred to another pair of applied two other horses intended to be sold as a pair.
 
I never spoke of them as said the horses were not thoroughbred horses strictly speaking but I said that most persons in this Colony would call them so.

I enclose a correct pedigree
