instruct Mr. Macadam as I may be in East Lothian before your letter reaches me.  In the meantime address me, Edinburgh and from Edinburgh the letter will be forwarded either to Drymen or to Prestonkirk or elsewhere to my address.

The weather has been cold and wet in Scotland for the last six weeks.  Should the next month prove dry it would be an excellent time of the year to see the Highlands of Scotland.
