we are to pay Mr. McAdam, ought really to be made as low as possible, so as to compensate for the losses needlessly incurred through the mistake.

Will you oblige me by forwarding an Acct. in order that the business may be closed without further delay.  I returned from the Continent a few days hence, much delighted with our tour.  Should I visit Scotland this Autumn wh. is just possible, I will do myself the pleasure of calling upon you in Edinburgh.
