Dear Sir

Your letter received this morning informs me that there is now no chance of conversing with you previous to your departure for the Golden Island.

I do not know that it is necessary to explain further in reference to the condition of the Ayrshires.  After you had read the comments on the Glasgow show you will be in a position to understand why the Ayrshire originally a large breed had been stunted.
