Paris calved 12th May 1856 got by Jamie dam Mary G. dam, Mary got by Angus G.G. dam bred by I. Macfarlane [Blairnaraid?] the most successful breeder of prize Ayrshire stock of his day.

Jamie got by Tom dam Maggie G. dam bred by Mr. Macfarlane got by Mr. Macfarlane's Bull which obtained several first prizes as a one year old two year old & three year old.

Jamie obtained the first prize in the universal exhibition of 1856.  As a one year old he took two first prizes and one second, out of my possession when two year old in my possession as a three year old when he obtained two first prizes.
