is high enough the cattle can be landed at once.  If the tide is not up the cattle require to be slung in a horse-box.  This will be easily done at the docks, or if thought more advisable the cattle can remain on board till the tide is up to allow them to walk ashore.  I will write my nephew Mr. Charles Macadam to look out for them.  He assisted up at the time of the Poissy convoy passing through London, and knows something of the
