in Ayrshire the price asked was £50 but the price did not alone deter me I did not consider him good enough. The first prize bull I was offered for £50 in the show yard. The price obtained afterwards was above £60. The first prize bull yearling I also looked at in Ayrshire, he could have been obtained for £50 but the narrowness of the chest kept me from purchasing. In the North B. Agriculturist of this week you will see a description of the stock shown at Glasgow.
With regard to the expenses incurred in looking for stock I can only accept of the railway fares. This does not amount to much. From
