Memorandum of an Agreement.

John Peisley agrees to deliver to John MacArthur in payment for two mares, two foals, and a gelding (the receipt of which he hereby acknowledges) Six Hundred & twenty eight Bushels (628 Bls.) of good, dry, storeable maize of such quality as Mr. Macarthur shall approve.

The said maize to be in Cob & to be measured agreeably to the custom of the country - that is to say two Bushels in cob for one bushel nett or twelve Hundred & fifty six Bushels in cob. for one Bushel nett  The above corn to be delivered at the rate of One Hundred Bushels pr month reckoning from the date of this agreement.
