OPERATION ORDER No. 2 

Herbertshohe,
14/9/14  3:45 a.m.

No. 1.  The enemy is occupying positions from Matanata Takapur across Toma Road, South of Wunatoro.
No. 2.  Our Troops are at Herbertshohe. A party from the Naval Brigade is covering our Left Flank as far as Matanata.
No. 3.  "E" "F" "G" "H" Companies with Machine Guns and Naval 12 pounder will move on Toma in a South Westerly direction along Vunamami - Gire Gire - Toma Road.
No. 4.  The force to be ready to move at 5 a.m. after shelling has ceased by the "Encounter".
No. 5.  "H" Company and 1 Machine Gun, Major Martin, to move along Coast Road to Vunamami thence to Gire Gire to Takapur, sending half a Company along Main Road to Toma.
No. 6.  "E" Company , Machine Gun, Naval 12 pounder, "G" and "F" Companies main Body in that order of march, followed by A.A.M.C.
No. 7.  One section "E" Company, Right Flank Guard, One Section "E" Company, Left Flank Guard.
No. 8.  One Section "F" Company Rear Guard, abut 500 yards in rear of column.
No. 9.  One Days ration, 200 rounds S.A.A. per man to be carried.
No. 10. O.C. and Messages to head of Main Body.
