Rep of Examination of Bugler Hardmann D Coy [page] 2
Bug Hardmann aside & said "Can you do a drink" - Hardmann replied in the affirmative & said "Wait till I am dismissed" & later Hardmann went back - This man (H Coy) then took a bottle of wine from a ledge underneath the verandah which Bugler Hardmann drank most of. Another bottle was produced from the same place which was opened & gave same to men present - these were all A Coy men as D Coy men were all together a full 100x away except those being posted - Bug Hardmann knows personally at least 2 men who witnessed this statement of the Happenings - these 2 being on Guard over parts of the Wireless outfit.
Bug Hardmann states that whilst there that morning one of A Coy's men came up to him & said "I am full up to here" pointing to his nose - He is prepared to swear to this statement but not to the identification of the man.
