Lieut. Bruce stated
Are you prepared to swear that the statement signed by you is correct. I am.

When you left [words deleted] House what condition was Major Beardsmore in.  [words deleted] I consider that Major Beardsmore was under the influence of drink when I saw him on Sunday night.

Do you consider that I did not know what I was doing on Sunday night.  You seemed to wander in your conversation
What did I say.  I do not recall what you said
Did I leave the trap.  You remained in the sulky.
Did you say anything to me.  You asked for me and I came out and there two or three other men with me at the time, but I cannot say exactly what you said. I certainly think you were under the influence of drink.

Was I under the influence on Saturday night or up to Sunday.

Did you see Major Beardsmore leave or go to to House  No.

I did not see Major Beardsmore at Gov. House during those times but I did see him there on Sunday morning, at about 11 o'clock
He gave me no instructions to withdraw my Company.  Colour Sergeant Mack relieved me.
