which only a fourweeks supply is ordered, cannot be supplemented by sweetpotatoes and other food grown here, none havong grown in this dry weather. If you think it possible t get supplies from Australia brought up here by a chartered vessel, we would be thankfull to know this. I may add, that if we do not get supplies in at least two month, our situation with the natives may become very serious.
