we are in a nice quiet spot quite a change from being just behind the firing line.
Thursday June 1st 15
Having a [indecipherable] rest no work plenty good food and plenty of sleep, had a swim this morning and I feel A1. The first quiet wash and swim I have had since landing.
Wednesday June 2nd 15
Started the day by having a nice swim which is just glorious, reminds me of a sea side trip. We are still resting, General Godley gave a very nice speech to the 4th Brig during the afternoon with reference to the good work which we have done. Doctor and I went touring after we had tea and nearly got shot by snipers.
