Went up to trenches this afternoon for a few shots.
Snipers made it too hot to put our heads up. Built a little look out of sand bags and while one used the Perescope the others shot at the Turk. Our guns gave them a good dose of schrapnel today. Received an issue of Tobacco & Rum today. Doc. A.M.C. and SB were mentioned in Despatches today.
7th May
All day long Turks poured Schrapnel into our position. No one hit though as they threw it a little bit to far. During afternoon went up to Capt Quinns trenches
