We only had two wounded while the Turks lost a fair numbers.
Tuesday 20th May 1915
Things fairly quiet during the morning. About 7pm the Battleship "Triumph" which with a number of other boats was lying about a mile off the shore at our position was torpedoed. Immediately destroyers, barges, tugs and boats of all descriptions raced to her assistance. We had a good look at her from the shore. They appeared to get most of the Crew off, who, untill she sank kept up a heavy fire with her guns, presumable at the Submarine which Torpedoed her. About 10 mts after she was hit she turned clean over and sank. Terrible to watch a big boat like her go down. The destroyers with full steam ahead were like living things as they flew
