Friday 28th May 1915
Things fairly quiet this morning in the firing line. Aeroplane pays another visit to the Turks and drops a bomb on them. Sappers still very busy on both sides. Schrapnel from the enemy in large quanties but did no damage. During the morning another lot of Reinforcements arrived which will be a great help as they are needed. Nothing startling during the afternoon barring our Artillery playing a good game. 3.30am [indecipherable]    succeeded in blowing up part of our firing line doing a fair amount of damage. 13th Batl. in the trenches at the time. A lot of the boys were blown to pieces. The Turks held our trench for about 1 hour when the 15th Batl. was called to retake and they was most gallant
