21 MARDI. [Tuesday]
Great morning.
2 pm. With C sec tent sub. took tea down to lakes & canals at Rivery. Obtained long river boat from engineers & rowed up to baths. Had a good swim then paddled up canals to one of the numerous delightful little week end houses, had tea, punted further then floated down to main canal had another swim & returned to hospital in Q[uartier] St Pierre
22 MERCREDI. [Wednesday]
Marched from camp on Amiens-Doullens Road to new main dressing station a collection of large marquees & bell tents alongside Corbie Road and in open fields. The view extends back to Amiens & includes the Valley of the Somme. A & B Sections are at Camon a large village 1 kilo nearer the river.
Evening: With Ted Figtree walked Camon, punted down to baths, had a swim, & returned by moonlight
