13 MARDI. [Tuesday]    
Quiet day at Vaux. This village was much damaged but not in ruins like Hamel, Warfusée, Lamotte etc which were "powdered up".
8pm. received orders to rejoin ambulance who had moved back to near Daours. So we marched back about 4-5 miles through Hamelet, Faulloy, Aubigny, Daours arriving before midnight. Had supper from the 10th F Amb & found a dugout.

14 MERCREDI. [Wednesday]
Resting near Daours in comfy dugout, with Frank Dooley of B Sec & Tasmania.
Parades 9.30 & 2pm
Rec'd Aussy mail 2 June 1918.
Route march & swimming parade in Somme Canal.
