Left Hotel. Paid bill 56 fr for two. Club. W Metro to Bastille. Walked thro' poorer quarters to Pere Lachaise Cemetery & Place Gambetta. Metro Place Nation. Metro Tuilleries Vendome & Salvation Army Club for dinner. Metro Hotel de Ville. Notre Dame. P[alais] de Justice. Jardin de Luxembourg. Senate. Les Invalides (closed), Ch[amber] Deputies, Bridges & Concorde bright at night. Club. Concert. Gare du Nord. Meal Canteen. Train 10.15pm
4 MERCREDI. [Wednesday]
Paris far behind. Arrived Abbeville 4.30am. Walked in dark to hospital, got into bed.
8am breakfast
10am Up before CO for being away. Remanded to unit on charge of being a patient AWL [Absent without Leave] from 10pm 29/11/18 to 6pm 3/12/18.
Quiet day in hospital. Wrote home lengthily.
