Home news has been grand for 1918. May it be so in the year to come, till we are happily united once more.

With this diary I am sending home a road map with the places mentioned in this diary marked upon it – or rather most of them. I have endeavoured to make this diary easy to follow or to refer to in reading letters written under censorship regulations.
This diary has always been kept up to date week by week or so.

CONCLUSION
The weather for the year has been beautiful.
 We have been out of the line a lot but near it a lot but our division has achieved wonders suffering heavily. We were "pensioned" 5.10.18
