13th 1915 I was chosen as a member of the 8th Field Ambulance, a unit which I learned to love as time went on, but at this time we all doubted if we would be in time to see real Active Service. I left Liverpool with the Advance party of the 8th F. Amb for Queens park Waverly 22/8/15, Sydney. It was here where A & B Sections were to start training as an Ambulance.
