but truely wonderful interesting city. As we were only allowed away from camp a few hours per each day we did not see too much, until Saturday came when we hired a guide & a party of us went & saw most of the interesting sights, when my first impressions of the town were confirmed. Our stay at Heliopolis was only for five days when we left for somewhere on the canal Zone, which proved to be Sepereaum [Serapeum], during our journey we passed through a pretty French Town called Ismalia, it is well protected from the Glare of the Sun by trees & has a large French population & its very clean to Cairo, we were camped on the Banks of the canal so we are able to indulge in
