We all said never was there such a fine lot of men, next day a report came in from Divisional Headquarters. Your unit was up to time, marched well but were taking too many steps to the minute. What a life. We had another quiet time at Mosacar but we held sports & the Unit won the prize for the limber & we were all very proud. The colonel was beside himself with joy. The turnout looked fine & various prizes photos were taken of the Horses Rider & Limber. It was here that we suffered a shortage of fuel so many fine planks went west on our fire. Everybody was happy yes we were really gong to France in fact we had already
