During the time your Brother David remained at Koonong Woolong he borrowed a quantity of Wool Bags, Sugar, Tobacco, &c &c from me and promised to return them on the return of your wool drays from Port Fairy however they came back empty and even did not bring the ropes I lent them with 6 pr bullock hobbles Mr Campbell borrowed from Kelley & he Mr C paid Kelley for them. When your brother left for Melbourne he requested me not to send in my a/c and promised most faithfully that as soon as he had settled with you he would call and pay me.
