likely go through Paris on our way back. He is going over to Soire Chateau tomorrow to draw some money for me. I will get about £4 & we will have to go steady with our money because food is so scarce in Belgium & terribly dear too. The towns in France are beginning to get a bit livelier now that the war has finished & the Estaminets are starting with their dancing & drinking. Estaminets are on the same lines as Cabarets.

The 1915 and 1916 men are going home to Aussie soon but us 1918 blokes will be away till 1920 they tell us. Well there is every chance of going to Germany yet so we will see a bit more of the world.

I will not receive any mails until I return in about 5 weeks time, but I will write on as usual. They will not forward my mail down to Ault
