& 11 till 12 Musketry, Dinner at 12.30, Fall in at 1.45.  From 2 till 3 we have bayonet fighting, 3 till 4 Gas Helmet practice & 4 till 5 Musketry & tea at 5.30.  We have Saturday afternoons & Sundays off.

But it is so monotonous & dull here. There is nothing to see. Of course I saw a lot when I was on leave but it's all over now & the only chance of a holiday is when I get wounded in the trenches. There was a general mobilisation today of all the troops in full marching order & they issued our steel helmets to us. Give my kindest regards to Mrs Jensen. There are so many to write to that I forget some of them. There is not much to write about so I will now close & hope you are all OK at home.

Your loving Brother
Norman
