I am leaving tomorrow with a Lieut. Nix for Ault which is a town on the Coast of France. He is going to attend a school there for Officers & as I am his Batman I am going with him. We will leave by Motor Bus from Beuguies [Becquigny] about 3 Kilos distant from here & will go to Charleroi (Belgium) 25 miles away & then take the Express to Valencienne, [Valenciennes] Mons & Cambrai & then down Bolougne way. It will be a fine trip & will take 12 days. I will be away for about 4 weeks. Coming back Lieut Nix is getting 5 days leave to see his Brothers Grave at Bapaume, & he will very
