but did not think much of it = there was Crammering

Mickey, he was killed about Flash Plains on the BoBo Creek.

I don't know what he was killed for = perhaps he had

bewitched some one, or had told some woman some of the

secrets of the "Cabra Ground", or had let some woman or

Boy see the Cabra Stones - either of those crimes were

punished by death, We got Mickeys scull[skull] and the last

time I was in Sydney I saw it in the Museam,[sic] I knew it

by the mark of the tomahawk on it that killed him, he

was a great thief, as his name will tell you, he would

even steal from the other Blacks, which they all seamed[seemed] to

despise him for = Bony was a splendid made man = but he

was a sulkey[sic] beast = quite as sulkey as he looked = I nearly had

my head split once through him, He had coxed[coaxed] away another

Blacks gin  & the Darkey came after her, Boney was clearing

off the Brush near the house  & the gin was planted in a

big Fig tree near there  & I was working with Boney = after

a lot of talk between them, and lots of abuce[abuse] the Darkey, Henry

let fly a Boomarang at Boney, I only ducked in time,  &

cleared out, leaving them to it, Henry did not find his

Woman, Boney did not keep her long = She went off with

another man, Boney was going to give her a hiding one

day when she left her blanket behind and got hold of Father

by the back of his coat and kept dodging round him - keping[keeping]

him between her  & Boney untill[sic] Father got him pacified

it was great fun, seing[seeing] Father trying to shake the Woman
