came over 5 planes in all. We were sitting in our dugout playing cards & all of a sudden 3 blasts of a whistle was sounded which is the signal for all lights to be extinguished. We then heard the low buzz of the plane & instantly about 20 searchlights flashed into the sky searching for Fritz. At last they found him & it just looked like a white bird in the air. At once our anti-aircraft guns opened a terrific bombardment
