through the City. I also visited Arthur's friends at Sheffield for 3 days but I was glad to get back to busy old London. I never told Ma & Pa I went to the War Office in London & volunteered for Russia but they said I had to come back here first & get my discharge & then come to London to enlist. Comimg up from London on the train I changed my mind! & here I am yet. I read in the Daily Mail this morning that there were 51 Deaths in Sydney on Tuesday 24th! Say
