believed that made them "Murry strong fellow"

They never mentioned the name before a Woman

Black or White = I now come to the part that

I can vouch for as I have seen it twice.

the main "Cabra Ground" was over on Stoney

Creek Flat, and the Fire Place wasa at what

is called Allan's Flat ("Koola Burrah") There is some

distance between the two places, I do not know

exactly  know  where the Boys were kept by the

Old Men. I fancy somehwere on the Ridges about

Limestone Flat (Woombe) The  Women all shifted

camp from Stoney Creek and brought the Children

over, I have forgotten one thing, every evening at

sundown the MEn gathered up at the top ring

and ran down to the bottom one shouting - pretending

that they are frightened of the Devil Devil, The

Women make their camps so as not to be in the

Darkies bringing the Boys in to the

Fire Place = Here they dreß, or rather undreß,

and paint themselves, their bodies are done over

with raddle and their faces also, with fancy

patterns done in pipe clay, dots - stripes, and all

sorts of patterns, when I saw them they were naked

to the waist = At another camp were about 10 or 12

men, these were painting their faces red and white

stripes and  yellow  patches and puting cocatoo
