During the day I saw something white sticking in

taken of it = most likely it was something to do
with some of their laws that he had broken, or
something of that sort = he was the last that
was killed in that way in the Manning
District = any other murders the Police have looked
after. Now about their names for places = You
must distinctly understand that they had no
name for the River or for any Creek, it was
always the name for some peice of the banks
that they gave you = not the River itself, or
the Creek = that has caused confusion in
