then the Man would say somethinkg and after a bit
he woiuld draw over to the one on the log and sit
down on it, not close to the other and after a bit say
somthing and after tht it was all right they would
have a great talk, It was the same if two met in
the Bush = they would not say a word for sometime
but look away and look like two fools - or two
shy White Children, The canoe was not much used
here, you might say only for crossing the River when
it was too high for walking across, but down the
River they were greately used for fishing, They were
made in this way, a nice straight Stringey bark
tree was Cooked[?] out and the bark carefully
striped off, being very careful not to crack it
