Include a manuscript narrative with an incomplete typed transcript, record the daily routine, including the Sydney's support of the Australian Expeditionary Force to German New Guinea and an account of the sinking of the Emden by H.M.A.S. Sydney, 9 Nov.1914 and describes patrols of H.M.A.S. Sydney in the  Atlantic Ocean, 24 Dec. 1914 - 29 Feb.1916
