Tiberghien. They are attached to an atelier d'aviation on rails. Have several meals with them. On the whole make the most of my spare time.

8th - Orders for departure. Our long rest is over, again they have told us lies. Its good that I am begining to know what a promise in the army is worth. They treat the men like that. We only start on 8th by car. But TR goes to-morrow. The Foret de Parow [possibly Parroy] north of Luneville is our secteur. Get all these news first hand as am on duty at the Colonels today.

7th - Have last good dinner at Sausures with friends from the Telephone & the Tiberghiens, jolly evening, return only at midnight. Meet nobody on the road & if we did they cant do anything worse than send us to the trenches.

8th - Very tired next morning when I have to get up to take the line between Barisey au plain & La Cote. Breakfast at a little pub on return just before entering village. Very hungry & thirsty. Coffee, Bread, butter, Eggs, beer & rhum. Embarkment fairly punctual. We go through delightful country but towards the end go
