13 -  Situation no worse our secteur gradually getting organised.  Heavy bombardment as usual, many aeroplanes Boches about.  Casualties increasing.  Several Boches aeroplanes were allowed to fly about our lines for a couple of hours & we are paying the penalty.

14 - Heavy bombardment early morning we were on the alert for a while. The 151 who went to the ravitaillement had 8 killed & several wounded. The Boches still continue to pour shells on all roads of approaches. Just at present no safety for a radius of 10 kilometres.

15 - Heavy bombardment during night, have to pretty sly gathering about as a metrailleuse over the Cotes du poivre sent bullets in our direction, one of our chaps wounded in the arm.  The atrss de metrailleuse was located & the 75 destroyed it.  Yesterday, one of our saucisse [sausage] broke its cord & flew away over the German lines. Fortunately the observer came down by parachute in time. This was more than compensated by one [indecipherable] nieuports brought a by German aviatik down in our lines.
