wounded. Afternoon bombardment again.  They have shown more life today than they have tried for some time. Orders come through for a probable reléve to-morrow night.

29 - Awaken at daylight to bring Officers of C2 to their different sections. So we are going to be relieved! Cold morning snow, lots, fine afternoon. Usual intermittent bombardment mostly small calibre.  [Indecipherable] rather annoying. At seven go to meet 6th who relieve us over the bois des allemands. They arrive at 10 as usual an hour late.
