25-7-18
2-15 am    The enemy under cover of a heavy box barrage round the Right Post of the Left Bn at P.6.a.2.8. attempted to raid our lines. At 2-30 am. the barrage lifted and two parties of the enemy attacked our right Platoon. The Right party was engaged with rifle fire from a covering party protecting the left of the Platoon, one at least being bayonetted. The left party threw several bombs at our posts but were driven off by our rifle and L.G.fire. The enemy scattered amongst the crops in rear of our posts and 2 wounded and 1 killed were found there shortly afterwards. One of the enemy attempting to escape stumbled across one of our posts and was shot dead. Another was killed at the River Post whilst endeavouring to escape. The enemy barrage ceased at 3-10 am. Our casualties were 2 slightly wounded.

27-7-18
12-30 pm  A party of 1 Officer and 15 Other Ranks, under cover of an L.T.M.Barrage rushed the enemy post at J.36.c.96.38. About 30 of the enemy fled and no identification was obtained. We suffered 1 O.R. slightly wounded. 
2-30 pm Brig-Gen J.H.CANNAN G.O.C. took over command of the Bde. Brig-Gen H.A.GODDARD DSO proceeded on leave. 

29-7-18 Situation quiet.

30-7-18  
5 pm    33rd Bn were relieved by the 11th R.F. 54th Bde and moved into Reserve Positition in La NEUVILLE Sector. Bde Headqrs moved to CORBIE (0.5.c.45.60)

3-20 am  The 34th and 35th Bns and 9th A.L.T.M.Bty were relieved by the 11th A.I.Bde in the Sector South of the River SOMME and moved to the AUBIGNY System. 9th A.I.Bde then becoming Divisional Reserve.
