And on the 19/2/18 while walking up the town I asked a lady the way to the cathedral so she took us up and showed us around and it is supposed to be the best one out side of London.  Then she asked us to come and have lunch with her and her husband at the hotel that they were staying at in which we did then after they took us arround  the town in there motor.  And they wanted to take us to the theatre at night but we declined there name was Mr. & Mrs. George Haines of Bath and the chap that was with me was Pte J. Williams of the 33rd Btn.  So we left them and went to the Grand theatre by ourselves but did not come out the same.  And on the 20/2/18 we caught the train on to Plymouth and arrived there at 3.15 P.M.  So we just strolled arround  the town that night and I met a few of the girls I knew.  On the 21/2/18 went out to Mrs. Rules and there all day and at night we all went to Andrews Pictures to see the self anointed monk the man that ruined Russia.  And on the 22/2/18 went to Salt Ash to nurse Laings place and stayed there all night.  And left there at 3.30 P.M. on the 23/2/18 and my mate was in bad humour for me leaving him on his own so I took him around to Mrs. Smiths for tea and we stayed there till 11 P.M. playing bridge and other card games.  On the 24/2/18 went to Milbray [Millbay] hospital and put the afternoon in there mucking up with the V.A.D.s.  At night went to the Hippodrome at Devonport.  On the 25/2/18 went to Mrs. Harris' at Mutley Plain then on to Ford House hospital to see a mate but he had left so I seen some one else.  And on the 26/2/18 went to a picnic at
