NOTES: (WRITTEN BY MUM IN AUGUST 1985)

Yvonne reminded me about her teddy she had from about 5 or 6 years old until she was 20 years, her Uncle Bill gave it to her on Christmas. Likewise he gave Margaret a monkey on a rope, when Marg comes home from her trip overseas I will check with her. Yvonne also was telling Alan last night about all the lovely dinners, lunches for school etc. how it was so lovely to open up ones lunch and find a lovely still warm pale or two for lunch plus some cake and fruit, and well our dinners at nights and weekends were really delightful and all the cakes and pies and puddings that were made for them all. When birthdays came around always a cake with candles and Christmas and Easter roast Ducks and all the extras etc .... of how we used to go on picnics in a hired covered truck and go camping.

Also when her father and I were out with our lodge meeting how they would all get in the double bed and fantasise and some of them would be real scary. Yvonne and her husband Alan have been with me for a week now and it has been wonderful, they took me to the Byron Bay Nursing Home everyday to see Harold whom you will hear about later on.
They left here at 6.00 a.m. for their home and poor Yvonne with a shocking cold. But when they get home this afternoon she will phone me. So I think I will leave this for a while now perhaps until Marg arrives from her overseas trip. I think she will be with me for one week and Merle and Ron will be here.
